Panawal (Full Flat Tang)

PANAWAL is a kukri term which means FULL FLAT TANG handle. It is a technical term which means the tang (blade's handle) is full and flat that follows the shape of the handle scales. The tang is visible from outside on both sides. Here the handle scales are first glued to the tang and then riveted to complete the fixture. PANAWAL version handle is designed for durability and heavy chopping works. It also gives good counter balance to the blade.
