EAGLE Handle

The EAGLE handle is a modern improved handle first time ever done by Khukuri House, Nepal (Saroj Lama Tamang). It is a well known handle style today and something that is copied by almost every khukuri dealers across the globe. When you look at the butt of the handle holding the khukuri upside down, you can actually see the Eagle’s head like structure, hence the name. The lanyard hole is the eye and the forward flare is the beak. The Eagle handle is stylish (sassy look), secure (has vertical shaft), very strong (full tang riveted handle) and gives good counter balance (due to thick butt at the back).
