The WoodCutter Khukuri has a thick Blade for heavy duty works in the forest and woods.

The WoodCutter is an improvised and modified version of RAW PANWAL kukris. It is actually the merging of two famous and functional kukris; Angkhola (Ang + Khola; having fuller in blade) and Panawal (Full flat tang with rivets). With the overwhelming response from customers regarding the black blade, this kukri is been born for the hardcore jungle warfare. Due to the heavy and long blade suitable for heavy forest and wood works its nicked as Heavy-Log, 'heavy' for the blade and heavy works, 'Log' is for forest and the woods.

Blade: The blade of this khukrui is 12inch long with raw finishing. This raw finishing enhances the cutting ability and durability of the blade while the panel of the blade has one semi-fuller and one fuller to give more strength and durability to the width of the blade. It also gives support to the flat surface by absorbing the direct impact done on the blade.

Handle: As mentioned above this kukri has famous “Panawal” type handle where flat tang goes all the way through the handle, and Aluminum rivets are fitted to strengthen the fixtures. The metal tang can also be clearly seen at the two sides of the handle. A single broad flat ridge is furnished for better grip, to make holding easier and non-slippery. There are rings in the middle section like in the classic kukris for extra grip. While these handle pieces are made of unpolished buffalo horn to give an overall bold look and sturdiness, both the pommel and bolster are made from thick iron plate to withstand the heavy impact taken by the blade. Lastly, the bottom of handle features a lanyard hole where strings can be tied to protect dropping of kukri away from hand. (IMP note:: If the HORN is not to our quality standard when making then it would be replaced by BLACK WOOD)

Sheath: It has a distinct green leather scabbard. Near the mouth of the sheath, you can find a black frog loop for belt to go through and carry it. While the tip of the scabbard features a small lanyard loop for strings to tie around the thigh and prevent wobbling while in action.
