Features of this Chukuri Knife 

Experimenting is an inevitable part of Khukuri House production and reputation. Chukuri is the product of such an experiment first done at Khukuri House and well worth it by every means. This 'Chukuri knife' is fascinating as it is the combined design of 'Khukuri' and 'Churi' (the famous knives of Nepal), hence shows the characteristic of both. The fusion is beautiful and deadly. 

Handle; the major attraction of Chukuri

The handle is made out of Indian rosewood, with contours that are made to comfortably fit in a palm and blend while holding. The palm swells on the other hand further assist in perfect grip hence strong hold. Also the in-built guard compliments the handle set up by dividing the blade and handle (a breaker in between). This safeguards the hand from slipping towards the blade causing injury especially in stabbing action. The extended tang beyond the wooden scales is customized as a hard surface breaker like glass should you need. The lanyard hole in the tang is for a string to go thru to prevent the knife from falling off or slipping away from the hand. 

Double edge sharp & pointed blade; LETHAL 

The sharp upper edge (clip point tip) is a typical Chukuri’s feature while the Khukuri feature is seen at the belly portion. The clip point is sharp and the tip pointed for easy penetration and tearing up any objects. In a hand-to-hand fight situation, this proves vital to neutralize the enemy. Since this kukri is meant for extreme work, the blade is kept raw-black (forge stage) so that the machinery processes do not take away its hardness (HRC).

What is Kydex sheath?? a thermoplastic that is chemical and water-resistant, has good firmness, is tough yet has good looks, it is lighter and cheaper and is compatible with many army gears. It has good thickness which makes it the most durable sheath to replace the normal traditional leather sheath of a khukuri. The best part of this sheath is that it can be worn both vertical and horizontal way and can be adjusted as required as it has a knot bolt system. The sheath has a belt holder that can be detached if not necessary or fix within Kydex in the desired position. The 'D ring' gives mobility to the carriage and enables to keep the knife in any posture easily.

The outcome, this Chukuri knife is born supreme, lethal with strength that one struggles to match. A born legend!
