Authentic Full Tang Jungle Khukuri (Ultimate)

"Jungle (Ultimate)" is the 1st and typical version of the "Panawal" handle. Big and better brother of the "Jungle” kukri, its advantage is full tang and firmly riveted for durability, strength, and balance (feel). Here the blade is fitted with a “Panawal” handle to enhance the overall working ability of the knife. It is very famous amongst users as an all-purpose utility knife because of its typical look and better feature (handle), and hence the expressive name Authentic Full Tang Jungle Khukuri. It is also the optional training/combat knife of the British Gurkhas.

Blade: This hand forged blade is 10 inch long having full unpolished finishing. This unpolished blade enhances the cutting ability and durability of the blade as losing of temper is prevented by avoiding the long machinery process. The blade profile is like the army service khukuri.

Handle: The kukri’s name itself defines the handle which is Full Tang which follows the shape of the handle. It has the famous “Panawal” version where the handle pieces are glued with epoxy to the full flat tang and further metal rivets are fitted together to strengthen the fixtures. This full flat metal tang can be clearly seen on the two sides. The handle scales are made from rosewood to give a matching look. It also has a lanyard hole for string to go through which prevents dropping of kukri from hand.

Scabbard: It has a normal black leather scabbard made from buffalo leather. A frog loop is fitted for belt to go thorough so that the knife can be carried easily. Also the tip of the scabbard has a small lanyard loop that helps to prevent unwanted movement of the sheath even in fast motion.
