This mid range bowie is little different from the rest as it has a re-curve shape like that of a kukri knife, hence the name. The kukri's shape aspires the shape of this bowie knife which makes it very useable. This knife is actually a copy version of a custom-designed knife made by “Kukri House Handicraft Industry” for one of its customers. We found it very appealing and with his permission it is now also offered as a regular product of KHHI nepal.

Blade: 9 inch in length and fully polished for easy use and maintenance. It has a slightly curved blade profile having taller/larger bevel for deeper impact which advances the cutting ability. The blood dripper is a pointed nozzle that pops out at the end of the blade. The easy size and its effective weight makes it a perfect utility knife for trekkers and campers and even in and around house.

Handle: It's distinctive handle adds beauty and benefits any user with superior grip.  The front-edge contour and curve fits the palm perfectly adding confidence and comfort to a user. Furthermore the handle is the strongest. The tang is full and flat metal that follows the shape of the handle scales and then riveted, hence very durable. (Please be notified that horn was used for handle before but due to banned of its uses, it has been replaced by Indian rosewood)

Scabbard: This bowie has a traditional sheath made from industrial treated buffalo leather. The small knives (Karda & Chakmak) are discarded. A lanyard loop is fitted in the tip of the sheath for a string/cord to go through to tie around thigh so wobbling can be minimized when in action. The sheath gives perfect fitting and finishing to the blade

Materials: Special buffalo leather scabbard, riveted full flat tang Brown Indian rosewood handle
Origin: KHHI, Kathmandu, Nepal (released on 20th Apr 2007)

:::: Please be notified that due to severe scarcity of HORN in the market, its constant rising price and now it being banned by the Indian Govt. we are compelled to replace the horn handle of this kukri/knife by Brown Indian Rosewood handle, unlike as shown in the photo with effective from 26th May 2013 onwards only ::::
