Hanshee means a highly curved kukri with no shoulder or peak at all. The outline (spine) of the blade gradually curves as it finishes at the tip with no break or seam of any sort.

Unique & modern Hanshee Khukuri in Khukuri House version

Blade
The Hanshee series has a distinctive crescent shape with no characteristic peak. This gentle curve makes this a powerful and good chopper. After extensive design and testing, we have developed a new method of blade tempering available exclusively on the Hanshee. When a blade is polished, it removes some of the hardness of a blade. The bevel of the Hanshee is thus left unpolished (to maintain the highest hardness) for excellent sharpness and edge retention. Whereas the panel (main body) is mirror polished done to slightly reduce hardness/rigidness. This ensures that the bevel is hard and durable, while the panel is soft and flexible. This reduces the stress on the blade while absorbing the shock of impact.

Handle
- The Full Flat tang panawal handle is secured with epoxy and rivets, and built for strength
- There is no bolster, handle meets the blade directly
- There is a generous palm swell for comfort, and is comfortable, even for larger hand
- lanyard hole in place for added retention
