Nepal Army ceremonial kukri knife

This kukri is issued to the new recruits on enlistment and is retained throughout the army career. It is the 2nd official khukuri issued which is mainly for special parade/duty on special occasions and events when VIPs and VVIPs grace the ceremony. It is a very important aspect of the ceremonial dress which requires very high standard of maintenance and tidiness. "Nepali Sena Service Kukri (Ceremonial)" is identical to the main issue however it has mirror polished blade and comes with highly polished patent leather sheath.

  • The blade is in traditional profile, in moderate shape, skillfully crafted and is 9" long

  • The handle is about 4.5-5" long made out of horn handle and is highly polished. It has a full tang hidden inside the horn that is securely locked from outside in the pommel. Has brass fixtures

  • The scabbard is made of high quality patent leather to give extra shine and smartness to the uniform. Twin belt loops are fitted in frog at the back portion of the scabbard. Has a brass tip
  • The khukuri comes with two traditional knives; Karda and Chakmak
  • Like any army kukris it is the simplest of all yet has its own beauty
