A traditional Khukuri in Machete size with Modern touch..

The modern Kukri collection of Khukuri House now becomes even larger with the inclusion of this amazing blade, “the KUKRI machete”. It was first released on 8th September 2008. Nicknamed, ‘USA’ to denote the origination of the name ‘machete’. It’s also named as American machete kukri to match the function and feature of the machete blade. The multipurpose capabilities of this machete can accomplish any task a user desires to perform from hacking and slashing to cutting and chopping with ease.

Blade: It has a 13” long (very good reach) unpolished blade that gives a typical macho look. Its design is kept similar to ‘Traditional Jungle (training knife of the Gurkhas)’ to uphold the Gurkha Legacy. It is strong and durable to withstand heavy impacts.

Handle: This is the most unique and strong point of the Kukri Machete. It is actually a fusion of the "Panawal (Full Flat Tang and Riveted)" and "Parowal (Hidden Flat Tang)" versions. The tang is riveted from outside yet NOT see from outside like in the default Panawal handles. And Unlike the default “Parowals”, this wooden handle is much wider and flatter and riveted from outside. The tang is then peened over at the metallic pommel cap. This whole new kind of set up is done for the 1st time by Khukuri House in order to make the handle extra strong and durable. With such set up the shrinking issue that hurts a Panawal version is forever take care of. Lastly, it has a small lanyard hole at the end for tie-up facility in the wrist if needed. This unique handle, an extra added feature, makes the kukri strong enough to withstand extreme impacts when used.

Scabbard: It has a brown leather scabbard with black frog attached to the loop (belt holder) to hold the kukri closely when in motion. A metallic chap at the tip is fitted for better look.

Extra multipurpose baby knife >> Extra Advantage of the kukri >> Extra blade for Extra works ..
The additional baby knife makes this machete more functional, reliable and more practical in use. When the large mother knife cant get into action due to the shape and size; this small baby knife supports its mother with a strong performance. This baby knife makes the main kukri a complete knife pack. Here both major and minor, big and small, random and delicate cutting work is easily accomplished from the duo.
