Popularly known as the 'Paper Knife'; First of its kind made by The khukuri House... KHHI exclusive

One of the most famous knives made in Khukuri format that stormed the khukuri world after been manufactured for the first time by KHHI. It is probably the smallest khukuri knife ever made then in 1990’s. It is being made in large number by almost all local khukuri makers since its inception. This knife was made with the concept of a letter opener, paper cutter or office desktop tool and even as a fine gift from Nepal.

The blade is actually a copy of the currently issued khukuri of the British Gurkhas. It is identical to the Service Kukri in shape and looks however made in very small size. It makes an ideal gift and a perfect souvenir to take back home from Nepal for your loved ones.

In TODAY’s CONTEXT, the modern digitalized world has limited the usage and importance of the “Paper Knife”. Hence these days its more about the image and legacy of the knife than its usage. The knife carries the true essence of the legendary kukri knife and the amazing reputation of the Gurkha Soldiers. This is what it appeals to the buyer as a knife. This makes it special, unique and a fine collectible item.

Blade: The blade is identical to the Service khukuri issued to Gurkhas. Made by solid brass and has 4 inches traditional looking blade
Handle: To match the blade, the handle is also made in a traditional format with Indian rosewood (sometimes HORN) handle having ridges in the middle portion
Sheath: It has a simple black leather sheath made of buffalo hide. Like with the regular army khukuris its sheath has a brass chape fitted to the tip
