This distinctive name, "Gurkha Optional Jungle Kukri Knife", says it all. British Gurkhas who like to travel light or carry something easy yet equally effective also go for this Optional kukri for accomplishing their military training and exercises. Its an optional no.2 knife that some Gurkha soldiers prefer due to its light weight  and handy size and probably due to their small stature. We have seen many young lads in service who come home for holiday buying the khukuri to ease their intense work load. Moreover in these days where technology absolutely rules a kukri is just a back up knife. Hence some army guys prefer small handy size when they have the choice.

The khukuri size is intentionally reduced so that carrying, using and working is much easier, swifter and less tiring. This mini sized khukuri can perform any household and domestic works along with the outdoor with much easiness due to its light weight.  The kukri knife comes highly useful in jungle, trekking and outdoor activities that involves cutting and surviving. It also makes very good gift and a classic souvenir to take back home from Nepal.
Its a basic knife with very simply features. It is one of the most common knives in Nepal that has very good demand as a perfect trekking and camping utility knife. Simple yet style of its own (traditional), short yet effective (practical) in its own right make the "Gurkha Optional Jungle Kukri Knife" one of the favorites amongst the troops and buyers (users).

This mini kukri comes with a regular polished blade and polished Indian rosewood handle. The black normal (Water buffalo hide) leather scabbard has a brass tip and comes with two small accompanying knives; the Karda (small knife) and Chakmak (sharpener).

beautiful piece of craftsmanship

| 17th April, 2019 | José Bettencourt Portugal

Greetings, dear Sirs.

I am quite happy to say that there has been a mistake about possible custom charges/clearing of goods. After all, I was not charged with further expenses... and the khukuri I ordered has already been delivered.

The Gurkha Optional Jungle Kukri Knife is now in my possession, and I have no intention of returning such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship ! The parcel and its content are in perfect conditions, well packed, and all adjoining documents and warranties show well the care and liability of all the process.

Being so, let me state that there is no reason for me for returning this magnificent piece, and that I am quite impressed with your work. My congratulations! It was well worth all the time I had to wait !

With my best regards,
Yours, sincerely,
José Bettencourt (sales ID 15029 P1)
