The Rebellion Camp Kukri (Chapamaar)

“Chapamaar”, the name of this specific Kukri means -  brutal killer and a handsome tough hunk in Nepalese term. It is a beauty released by KHHI on July 1st 2009 to sway its beauty and beast feature to the critics, realize every craftsmen dream and satisfy hardcore users.

Blade: ‘Chapamaar’ has a 12” Polished Blade. It is quite similar to the “World War” kukri but this specific blade has more pointed and sleek finish towards its tip. The unique bevel of the blade is another strong point of the knife. Here the maker has made the edge of the blade extra sharp and sleek. This makes cutting easier and hence decreases work load. The panel is highly polished to work as a cushion to the bevel. Whereas the idle area has false edge which reinforces the blade to withstand large impacts and brutal use.

Handle: The Chapamaar's handle is a full flat tang fixed with multi rivets to give it a strong and rigid fixture. The handle’s curves and contours provides a very comfortable grip. The handle fans out in a “Y” shape at the ricasso. This unique and contemporary design makes it easier to hold and avoids the hand from slipping towards the blade which may prove fatal.

Scabbard: Brown or natural color (raw) leather scabbard is used to give a matching and striking look to the kukri. KHHI frog (farus) is fixed to give easy carriage and swift draw in - draw out action. Here the belt goes through the frog (loop is discarded), giving a tight and fitting carriage close to the body.

Size of Blade: 12 inches
