Dedicated to the Rebels who strongly believe in a cause and even prepared to die to make the change. The "Rebellion Camp Kukri" is to honor such people who is courageous and clever enough to enforce the difference..

This kukri is a small tribute by KHHI nepal to the decade long Nepalese Civil War, popularly known as the Maoist Insurgency/Revolution or Maovadi Dwandakaal in Nepalese between the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and the government of Nepal, fought from 1996 to 2006. The hardships, horror and destruction faced by the Nepalese people was overwhelming with thousands of deaths and properties worth billions lost. It is also an effort to make new generation remember the dreadful conflict the country had to go through to come this far as one united and strong nation. Through this special kukri we would also like to comment that NO WAR is good, it must NEVER happen. Although this kukri doesn't have any connection, history or story attached to the rebels or Maoist army, we at KHHI want to name it so, so that Future is well planned and realized by looking back the history and making sure such bloody phase never comes again. War and Arms must never be the option but LOVE and RESPECT.

'Chapamaar' is a typical Nepali word meaning Guerilla in English. After the Maoist Guerilla Army was settled in the camps under UN in 2006, Nepalese people finally saw a ray of hope of peace and development in the country after a decade long Civil War.

THE KUKRI >>
Making it beautifully unique, strong for performance... This modern and imporved kukri was first designed and released to showcase the expertise, experience and the craftsmanship of Kamis at Khukuri House (KHHI) to all the customers, kukri lovers and critics.

Blade: It has a 12” Polished Blade. It has a smooth shape but with more pointed peak and sleek finish towards its tip. The unique bevel of the blade is another strong point of the knife. Here the maker has made the edge of the blade extra steep and sleek. This makes cutting easier and deeper hence decreases the workload. The panel is highly polished to work as a cushion to the bevel, whereas the idle area has a false edge which reinforces the blade to withstand large impacts and brutal use.

Handle: The handle is a full flat tang fixed with multi rivets to give it a strong and rigid fixture. The handle’s curves and contours provide a very comfortable grip. The handle fans out in a “Y” shape at the ricasso. This unique and contemporary design makes it easier to hold and avoids the hand from slipping towards the blade which may prove fatal. This special handle of the Rebellion kukri makes the knife extra useful and unique.

Scabbard: Brown or natural color (raw) leather scabbard with a copper chape on tip is used to give a matching and striking look to the kukri. KHHI frog (farus) is fixed to give easy carriage and swift draw in - draw out action. Here the belt goes through the frog (loop is discarded), giving a tight and fitting carriage close to the body.
