Water buffalo horns are imported from India and transported to factory in large number. They all go through the selection phase and bad quality horns are rejected. The hollow area of the horn is cut off from the main body and only the solid part is used to make handle. The solid horn is then measured to fit the size of a required khukuri. Now the making of a handle starts.
